INTRO TO WATERCOLORS

Description: This four week long course is an introduction to watercolor techniques. We will start out with paper stretching, color studies and brush control. We will study such useful painting skills as washes and dry brush techniques. As the class progresses we will go from painting still lifes to landscapes to portraits. When the class is over, each student will have a complete grasp of the rudiments of watercolors and the ability to use the medium to interpret a variety of subject matters.
